On April 28, the "Red Kapok Pioneer Promotes Innovation, Red Chain Empowers Development" — Guangzhou Municipal Non-Public Economic Organization Party-Building-Led Sci-Tech Innovation Matchmaking Event was successfully held at the 5th Industrial Park of CVTE. Co-hosted by the Guangzhou Federation of Industry and Commerce (AIC), the Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology, and the Party Committee of Non-Public Economic Organizations of Guangzhou, the event was organized by the Huangpu District AIC and Guangzhou Shiyuan Electronic Co., Ltd. (CVTE). Mr. Hou Shaomian, Chairman of our company, was invited to attend as an enterprise representative. He gathered with government leaders, industry experts, and industrial chain partners to engage in in-depth discussions on linking the "industrial chain" through the "party-building chain."
At the opening of the event, Zhang Hongbin, First-Level Inspector of the Guangdong Provincial AIC and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Provincial Non-Public Economic Organizations, and Wei Guohua, Deputy Head of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Guangzhou Municipal Committee and Party Secretary of the Guangzhou AIC, delivered speeches. They emphasized the need to deeply study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discourses on sci-tech innovation, leverage the guiding role of the "Red Kapok Pioneer" party-building brand, connect the "industrial chain" through the "organizational chain," and use high-quality party building to drive high-level sci-tech self-reliance and self-improvement.
During the roundtable forum, Chairman Hou Shaomian engaged in face-to-face exchanges with Professor Sun Fuchun, alongside enterprise representatives including Jiang Weikai (Chairman of Hyglo), Tang Lijun (Chairman of Haozhi Holdings), Luo Chongjian (Vice President of Yundie Technology), and Meng Dawei (Senior Vice President of CVTE). Together, they explored the practical pathways of AI empowering private sector development. Chairman Hou stated, "When done solidly, party building is a productive force; when strengthened, it becomes a competitive edge; and when refined, it turns into cohesion. As an enterprise in the wire and cable industry, we have always regarded party building as the 'root' and 'soul' of our corporate development."
Looking ahead, our company will continue to uphold the principle of letting "Party-Building Red" guide "Sci-Tech Blue."
